Today, 30th October 2023, we are excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey to celebrate coaching excellence—the unveiling of the shortlist for the ICF Ireland Rising Star of the Year and Coach of the Year Awards 2023 and details of those being considered for the President’s Award 2023. Our coaching community continues to shine brightly, and this year, we were faced with the remarkable challenge of selecting the finalists from an exceptionally talented pool of applicants. We want to extend our sincere appreciation to every coach who submitted their applications. The level of expertise, dedication, and passion displayed by each applicant has been truly inspiring.

My name is Deirdre Cooney and I am a Professional Coach, working with leaders and individuals in medium to large organizations. I have worked as a Senior Leader in the Biopharma Industry for over 30 years. Throughout my own career, I was fortunate to have access to excellent coaches who really helped me to become the leader that I wanted to be and I now want to turn my focus to that role, to support new leaders to be successful and fulfilled in their roles
