Welcome to September – A great month for a reset, a fresh start and a new routine.
I hope you had a restful and restorative summer and you are ready for the second half of the year. I have 3 small children at home, along with my own coaching business The Big Life Project and a dog to be walked so I am definitely in ready for some routine. |

As the Director of Marketing and Communications, my role is to grow connection and value among our community. Life is noisy and my role is to simplify and streamline communications, rather than add to the chaos. In February, we launched this newsletter as your one-stop shop for you to find the latest events, insights and updates. I would love your input in shaping this newsletter to be the one you look forward to so much that you knock down my door if it doesn’t land as promised on the first Thursday of each month 🙂 Drop me a message with ideas at lindsay.brady@icfireland.com.
Behind the scenes, this Autumn, I am leading an exciting project to bring you a fresh new website. The goal for this project is to make it easier for you to find the latest news & events… .and maybe even, for ICF members to be found by future clients (just a little teaser of what’s to come!)

| Great news – The Dublin Coaching Community is now live!! ICF Ireland members, Hannah Linehan, Christina Kenny, Becky Thomas, Maayan Yankelevich and Catherine Gallagher, have come together to establish the Dublin Coaching Circle (DCC): a space for coaches to connect, build genuine relationships, support one another and learn from each other. Our ambition is not to create another traditional networking group or a programme of formal training. We want the Circle to be a community first. Somewhere coaches can have real conversations, share experiences and perspectives, learn from the different approaches and expertise and build relationships with people who understand the work we do. While the five of us are getting things started, we don’t want to decide on our own what the Dublin Coaching Circle becomes. The clue is in the name: it’s a circle, not a hierarchy. We want the people who become part of it to help shape it, so ideas, feedback and involvement won’t just be welcomed, they’ll be an important part of how the community develops. Join us for our first online gathering: Tuesday 22 September at 7pm This gathering will be an introduction – a chance to meet one another, hear a little about the thinking behind the Circle and, importantly, start shaping what we want this community to be. We would love you to see you there. Register here to join this call.

| | We had our first LinkedIn Live focused on DEIB discussing Neurodiversity in Coaching with our guest Hannah Linehan, a Neurodiversity Specialist and Coach. Hannah shared her perspective on working with individuals and businesses who are creating more inclusive work spaces and the challenges and opportunities that arise along the journey. 30 minutes, but packed with insights and ideas for Coaches and Leaders. |

| This month, we have some great book recommendations for anyone for a great Autumn read. If you have any great reads, podcasts, articles etc. that you would like to recommend, I would love to use this newsletter to share them. Drop me a message at lindsay.brady@icfireland.com |

| Hidden Potential Recommended by Shashi Sopirala
This book is a great reminder that potential is less about where we start and more about our capacity to learn, adapt and keep developing. I particularly like the shift from celebrating innate talent to thinking about how we create the conditions for people to grow. |

|
| Coaching for Wellbeing Recommended by Susan Creedon
This book is great for any coach interested in learning more about wellbeing. It brings together key theories and practice to support coaches and their clients. It’s full of case studies, anecdotal evidence, wellbeing tools and exercises which can be used as part of your coaching practice. |
