Fáilte roimh chách – a warm welcome to everyone in our community. As we approach our Annual General Meeting, it feels like an appropriate moment to pause and reflect on the commitments we made at the beginning of this year and the progress we have made together as a Chapter. |

When the current Board first met in February, we agreed four key priorities. While there is always more to do, I am proud of the progress that has been made through the collective efforts of our volunteers, Circle leaders, members, and Board colleagues. I would like to briefly reflect on the ambitions we set for ourselves and what we have learned along the way. Strengthening Member Engagement has remained a central focus throughout the year. We have continued to invest in creating opportunities for connection, with an in person ICW learning event and a social networking event. We will continue to strengthen opportunities for connection by hosting an in-person AGM with the opportunity for a pre-festive season toast afterwards. We continue to support ICF Circles, welcome new members into the Chapter, and encouraging member-led activity. Enhancing Learning and Development has also been an important priority. Through LinkedIn Lives webinars, credentialing support, learning events and shared resources, we have sought to provide practical and relevant opportunities for professional growth at every stage of a coach’s journey. We know that maintaining high professional standards is central to the credibility and impact of coaching, and we remain committed to supporting our members in doing so. International Coaching Week once again demonstrated the strength and generosity of our community. Through the involvement of our members, volunteers and Circles, we were able to showcase the value of coaching, create opportunities for learning and connection, and increase awareness of the profession across Ireland. Finally, Partnerships continue to be an area of opportunity and development. During the year we have strengthened existing relationships and initiated new conversations that will help us expand the Chapter’s reach, support future membership growth, and continue promoting professional coaching within organisations, educational institutions and the wider community.
As we prepare for the AGM, I want to thank everyone who has contributed their time, expertise and energy throughout the year. A vibrant Chapter is built by its members, and every volunteer contribution, event attendance, mentoring conversation, circle meeting and act of support helps strengthen our community. In the spirit of Ní neart go cur le chéile, I look forward to reflecting further on our progress at the AGM and continuing our work together in the year ahead. With warmth,
Melissa J.Sayer – President, ICF Ireland |
